About Us
KNEEL meets at Berean Baptist Church in Burnsville, MN  (near Hwy. 35E and County Road 42) on the first and third Thursday of each month. We begin on the first Thursday in September and end on the first Thursday of May. Meetings begin promptly at 12:00 pm for all children. The 1st-7th grade students start with "Friendship time" in the gym where they can play with friends before they gather to recite the Pledge and listen to the announcements. They are then taken by grade to their three classes which run 12:30 to 3:30 pm.  There is a scheduled snack break for the 1st-7th graders between the last two classes.  Carpenters4Christ (C4C) wood shop students meet off-site at North Country in Burnsville from 12:30 to 3:00pm.  Members are encouraged to coordinate car pools to and from Berean for the C4C students.

Parents are required to participate in the following ways:

  • New Moms' Party / Orientation (first Thursday evening in August)
  • August Parents' Info Meeting (third Thursday evening in August)
  • Moms' Time during co-op meetings
  • Service Team positions
  • Classroom Assistant 2-3x per year
  • Participation in the main fundraiser

These events, though optional, are strongly encouraged. They provide opportunities for students and parents to get to know one another better.

  • Field Trips
  • Moms' Night Out
  • Beginning and year end picnics (September and May)
