For students in first - seventh grade:
Science with Mr. Jason Reilly

Cultural Studies with Mrs. Hewitson
Students will "travel" the world covering 5-6 countries. Their "travel itinerary" is determined by potential resources or a current event like the Olympics.  They will accumulate a passport of information is throughout the year. Students will learn the country's location and shape, flag, currency, time-change, music, food and other interesting facts.  Using a multi-sensory approach, the children will explore and experience each country and culture over two co-op sessions.  There is a possibility of guest speakers arriving in their traditional dress to share firsthand about their homeland.  At the close of each class students will learn to sign a song entitled, Bless the World Through Me, to re-enforce the objective of the course.

Physical Education with Mr. Healy
"Who is tired?" The class begins with warm-up calisthenics. Throughout the school year the students will be exposed to a variety of group orientated gym games, geared at getting their hearts pumping and bodies working.
